Transor filtration system for HSS grinding- TME

Transor makes a unique filtration system for cutting tool makers who make high volumes of HSS tools. The filter elements used in these systems are called ‘TME’ and are made of woven composite material.

The fine HSS particles tend to stick together in oil and prove difficult to backflush. Our unique design avoids this problem and keeps the grinding oil crystal clean.

1. A magnetic separator as a pre-filter is used.
2. Filter elements are robust and can handle a high volume of HSS dirt.
3. Regeneration or backflushing is very intense in these systems and. The entire filtration and backflushing sequence are automated with zero manual intervention.
