No, we have designed our sump cleaner to run without stopping production. For such a feature air operated diaphragm pump is the only option.
Yes, this can be used for any metalworking fluid.
Yes, the unit will work if you connect the suction hose to the drain port of the machine sump and secure the delivery hose inside the tank. However, it will suck the debris from only that part of the tank. It would be best to use it like a vacuum cleaner to remove debris from the entire machine tool coolant sump.
It would be best if you did not use this to remove long curly chips from the tanks. Removing fines, swarf, burr, or dust-like debris is very effective.
Yes, as long as the debris is not in long curly form, this equipment can be used for any kind of metallic or non-metallic debris like plastic, brass, aluminum, cast iron, etc.
