Centrifuge

Industrial solid-liquid separator

Innovation filter system's liquid-solid centrifuge is the gold standard for industrial centrifuges and separators and many other types of filtration systems. Centrifugation is a process used to separate or concentrate materials suspended in a liquid medium. It is a highly accelerated form of sedimentation, which uses gravity to separate particles heavier than the liquid medium. Centrifugal force accelerates this settling rate in our centrifuge.

Working of the centrifuge-

  • Dirty fluid is pumped inside a rotating aluminum pot inside the centrifuge system.
  • The G-force generated due to the rotational motion acts differently on the pumped liquid and the suspended solids inside it because of their density difference.
  • Hence, the solids get concentrated on the centrifuge inner walls while clean liquid flows out.
  • Our centrifuges are manually cleaned, i.e., once the rotating pot fills with sludge, the centrifuge stops. The rotating aluminum pot has a rubber pot inside it, which collects the sludge.
  • The rubber pot is replaced using a spare, clean pot, and the centrifuge can be started again.
  • The used rubber pot can be cleaned and kept ready for the next batch.

Customer Reviews

Badve Engineering Limited

We certify that Innovation Filter System Pvt. Ltd. has designed and installed a system in our factory, improving our paint process. We have a tank process for our product surface coating application. IFS has installed Phosphate Sludge Separator for phosphate bath. The installed system is as per our expectation and is performing well. Since the installation of this system, we have realized the following benefits- 1. We avoid manual cleaning of phosphate bath completely 2. We avoid loss due to production shutdown for phosphate tank cleaning 3. Consumption of phosphate bath has come down by 40%
